Baloch Republican Guards Claims Attack on Pakistani Military Camp in Sanni, Reports 12 Personnel Killed

Balochistan: According to Raaz News | The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) has claimed responsibility for a major attack on a Pakistani military camp in Sanni, Kachhi district of Balochistan, reporting that 12 military personnel were killed during the operation.

In a statement issued to the media, BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch said the group’s fighters launched the assault early this morning after surrounding the main Pakistani military camp in Sanni from all four sides.

According to the spokesperson, sustained attacks enabled BRG fighters to take control of the camp, killing 12 Pakistani military personnel. He further claimed that several other troops fled the facility amid the fighting.

Dostain Baloch also claimed that the group had taken control of Sanni town, the military camp, the local police station and government buildings in the area. He added that the Pakistani military evacuated its dead and wounded personnel by helicopter.

Military Convoys Targeted in Ambush

The BRG spokesperson said several military vehicle convoys advancing towards the area were also targeted in ambushes by the group’s fighters.

He further stated that the Pakistani military deployed gunship helicopters to support its forces, but BRG fighters managed to repel the advancing troops and force them to withdraw.

BRG Claims Responsibility

Dostain Baloch accepted responsibility for the attack on behalf of the Baloch Republican Guards, saying the group would continue its operations until what it described as the “complete independence of Balochistan”.

The reported casualties, seizure of the military camp and government installations, and claims of control over Sanni town are based on the BRG statement and have not been independently verified.
