According to Jeeyand Baloch, on October 11, the BLA's naval unit, known as the Hamal Naval Defence Force, targeted two rigid-hull inflatable speedboats belonging to the Pakistani Coast Guard in Jiwani, within Gwadar District. The attack resulted in the deaths of 13 Coast Guard personnel.

The group's spokesperson also stated that, during clashes with personnel stationed at a military position near the attack site, the naval unit's commander, Sangat Nawaz Baloch, alias Ustad Gajian, was wounded and subsequently died.

According to the communiqué, Nawaz Baloch was the son of Rasool Bakhsh Hoth and was originally from the Gogdan area of Turbat. Sangat Nabeel Ahmed, alias Ali, was killed on April 29, 2025, in Turbat.

Position on Naval Operations

The Baloch Liberation Army described the attack as part of the expansion of its military activities into the maritime domain. It stated that the objective of the Hamal Naval Defence Force was to counter Pakistan's military presence along the Balochistan coast and disrupt maritime and commercial activities associated with that presence.

The group also announced that it would continue its land and naval operations.
